Systems/Structures Engineer - Aerospace
Duration: Direct-hire
Pay: $50-60K DOE plus benefits
Hours: Full-time
Educational Requirements: Associates degree required; Bachelor’s in Engineering or related preferred; FAA Airframe & Power Plant Certified a must
Description: Aerospace company in Arkansas is currently conducting interviews for the position of Systems/Structures Engineer. Great benefits including medical, dental, vision, life & accident insurance, paid vacation and sick days!
Duties include:
1.) Coordinate findings, generate engineering orders and develop engineering data in relation to airframe, engine and appliance orders
2.) Coordinate with Airframe Analysts and DERs to provide tech support and develop new data
3.) Report repairs to the FAA and maintain repair assessment program database
4.) Generate aircraft wiring and manufacturing drawings as needed
5.) Manage company damage assessment program
Requirements include:
1.) Associates degree required; Bachelor’s in Engineering or related preferred; FAA Airframe & Power Plant Certified a must
2.) Minimum 3-5 years of aviation maintenance experience
3.) Excellent speaking and writing skills with the ability to compose concise technical language and clear instructions for engineering orders
4.) Knowledge of records filing, database regulations, and FAR regulations
5.) Strong computer skills in Word, Access, Excel and PowerPoint; AutoCAD skills a plus
Valid passport needed as some international and national travel is required.
