Yard Operations Manager
Duration: Direct Hire
Pay: $60-80K or DOE - plus great benefits!

Dynamic and successful company is currently seeking candidates for the role of Yard Operations Manager. Will be responsible for managing the Central Facility yard operations. Will make and assertively communicate quick decisions regarding safety and equipment movement while coordinating several loading/unloading operations going at one time between multiple crews. Will also assure that all documentation is completed before releasing. Ideal candidate will have extensive managerial and supervisory experience and be adept at multi-tasking.
Additional duties:
1.) Provide leadership and direction in safe loading and unloading techniques, shipping/receiving techniques and procedures, yard organization and management, inventory handling and control practices (utilizing MRO Maximo software)
2.) Request OCTG pipe and equipment maintenance and coordinates with the Fleet and Maintenance Coordinator for yard vehicle maintenance
3.) Ensure safe operations, yard maintenance and upkeep, monitoring and directing truck traffic, inventory control of pipe on racks and yard-stored materials.

Job Requirements:
Requirement experience and knowledge:
1.) Minimum 10 years of experience in the operations of OCTG (oil country tubular goods) storage and maintenance yards including storage of oil and gas surface equipment
2.) Knowledge of upstream and midstream field activities and operations such as: well drilling and completions, gas production, gas pipeline, compression and transmission support.
3.) Knowledge of COPAS, CEPS, API standards and guidelines for oil industry business and handling practices is essential.
4.) Must know differences between ASME, API, and ASTM grades and specifications and inspection methodologies
5.) Extensive knowledge in use of material-handling equipment and rigging for moving pipe, skids, and other heavy equipment items.
6.) Good scheduling and load-balancing abilities
