Job Description:
This Quality Assurance & Testing Lead works in the Enterprise Testing Services (ETS) organization to manage the design, development, and implementation of testing procedures; test plans & test cases to support testing objectives. You will implement quality assurance methodologies to ensure product and applications comply with standards (CDP methodology, SLCI solution life-cycle and HIPAA and SOX regulations, etc.).
As a Quality Assurance & Testing Lead you will be required to work on multiple projects simultaneously and manage multiple testing environments. You will communicate effectively with the business, project management and other IT teams and accurately assess resource and schedule estimates. You will create Testing Dashboards to communicate project status and include metrics for continued process improvements. You will use your testing experience to report & resolve defects in Quality Center. As a lead you will determine when to escalate open issues and ensure that sufficient documentation is available to solve technical problems. You will provide Test Summary documentation to communicate risk assessments and make a recommendation on the quality of the system. As a Test Lead you must demonstrate that you deliver on commitment.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or another technical field.
Minimum 6-8 years of experience in functional, system or integration testing.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in leading an independent test team.
Highly proficient in writing test documentation (plans, test cases, status report), executing test cases & identifying defects.
Experience with Managing Staffing Needs
Experience with Executing and Tracking Project Plans
Experience with Testing Tools (etc Mercury Quality Center)
Proficient at Designing and Developing Testing Procedures
Ensure Compliance with Established Methodologies
Mentors staff members and reviews work of staff members
Strong communications, interpersonal, and organizational skills a must.
Self motivated, self-directed and independent thinking yet team player.
Proven ability to build strong partnerships with technical and business partners.
Work experience in health care environment is preferred.
