If you have successfully sold site acquisition, zoning/permits, and construction management services to Tier 1 wireless carriers, and like the idea of managing a large region with uncapped earnings potential, this may be the ideal opportunity for you. A small but growing company needs a revenue rainmaker to head up their growing West and Southwest regions. You will have complete responsibility for all aspects sales within a large region covering the Southwest US and West Coast. Primary is sales expansions and contract negotiation with Tier 1 wireless operators and some Tier 2, as well as actively recruiting employees and subcontractors for the region. As in all sales management positions, you will prepare a detailed sales forecast using SalesForce, as well as negotiate contracts. Develop a cohesive business development plan by contacting potential clients, setting up and attending sales meetings and local industry events. In addition, you will be responsible for staffing and preparation of proposals in response to RFP’s from potential clients. Requires a Bachelor degree with 5+ years of experience in account management and sales of site acquisition, zoning, permits, and construction management. Must be able to meet timelines and resolve potential problems through a professional manner. Work with corporate IT manager to provide technical equipment needs within the region. Must have a proven track record in sales to Tier 1 carriers and have expert knowledge of wireless communications site acquisition, including working with real estate to choose sites, maintain personal relationships that can be leveraged in expediting lease negotiations, and provide timely, thorough communications on site options to clients. Must know zoning services from initial assessment through the public hearing process, and turnkey project management services. Travel will be a minimum of 50%. Must have home office setup with laptop, high-speed Internet, etc., as well as live within 30 minutes of a major airport in DFW, Phoenix, Albuquerque, Las Vegas, Salt Lake City, Portland, or Southern CA. Must be US citizen. Company offers base salary of $60-$75k DOE with performance bonuses and uncapped commissions – target is $150-$175k in 1st year earnings. PPO medical, dental, life.
