Global Tax Director

Description: This position will be the lead tax person and will supervise two direct reports. The Director will oversee global tax planning and compliance. The compliance includes Federal and state income, franchise, annual reports, property renditions, sales & use, etc. prepared by internal staff. In addition, the Director will coordinate with local Finance personal and outside advisors for the foreign tax compliance. The Director will also have the opportunity to add value via tax planning.
Major Responsibilities:
• Global tax advisor
• Quarterly and Annual FAS 109 provision
• Federal and state income tax returns
• Foreign statutory accounts
• Foreign income tax returns
• Review of payroll taxes related to certain compensation arrangements (e.g. relocation reimbursements, restricted stock, etc.)
• Special projects including transfer pricing, global structuring, due diligence on acquisitions, FIN 48, etc.
• Annual reports – capital tax, net worth, etc.
• Sales & use tax
• Tax audits and notices
Job Requirements:
Requirements:
• Public accounting experience (Minimum of 5 years)
• Certified Public Accountant
• Bachelor of Science in Accounting
• Masters in tax (desirable, but not required)
• International tax experience e.g. Subpart F income
• FAS 109
• Experience managing a corporate tax department (desirable, but not required)
• Eight or more years relevant experience
