JOB SUMMARY:
• Seeking a solution oriented professional (director or manager, based on experience) to assist in the development and delivery of transactional and strategic Human Resources support (recruiting, employee relations, performance management, compensation, training, and organizational development) to contribute to the growth and success of the Actuarial, Law & Product Management teams.
• Demonstrated expertise in all major HR disciplines, a business orientation, proactive & collaborative style, critical thinking skills, and uncompromising integrity are minimum requirements.
JOB COMPONENTS/CRITICAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Acts as a business partner providing advice, guidance, and support on a wide range of HR strategies and programs to drive business results.
• Act as an employee advocate and advisor.
• Consults to management on organization design and effectiveness, staff career development, succession planning, performance management, total compensation management, HR policies, and other topics in support of business plans.
• Designs/administers professional recruiting programs to attract individuals with the skills required to execute division business plans, meet workforce diversity objectives and prevent unmanaged turnover.
• Establishes and coordinates (Human Resources functional) training and development strategies.
• Assures compliance with federal, state and local laws that impact Human Resources; responds to governmental and employee inquiries or complaints; coordinates their resolution.
• Participate in company-wide projects/teams as appropriate.
JOB COMPETENCIES/QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Generally 5+ years of HR experience preferred
• Demonstrated expertise in all major HR disciplines
• Computer skills & aptitude
• Knowledge of state and federal labor laws
This is a permanent position and offers a base salary and up to 20% annual bonus and excellent benefits
