Technical Writers and/or Technical Illustrators
Duration: Direct-hire, temp-to-hire and long-term contract opportunities
Pay: $30-40/hr, DOE
Hours: Full-time
Educational Requirements: High School diploma, BS a plus
Description: Trilogy Personnel has partnered with a world-class central Arkansas aeronautical company who is currently conducting interviews for the positions of Technical Writers or Technical Illustrators. This is an excellent opportunity to advance your career and further develop your technical writing or illustration skills within a major corporation.
Responsibilities: 1.) Will produce and prepare various technical literature, guides, manuals and bulletins 2.) Analyze relevant sourced data in preparation for charts, diagrams, etc. 3.) Conduct analysis of CATIA drawings for preparation of isometric illustrations to be utilized in technical manuals 4.) Utilize applicable computer software and programs to generate maintenance manuals and parts catalogues 5.) Support illustrations by preparing detailed parts lists

Job Requirements:
Required Qualifications:
1.) BS degree or 8+ years relevant work experience
2.) Illustrated Parts Breakdown (IPB) and Illustrated Parts List (IPL)
3.) Knowledge of CATIA V4/V5 (500+ hrs), Solid Works, AutoCAD or related 3-D software
4.) Knowledge of Arbortext, ISO Draw, Corel Draw, MS Office Pro Suite
5 .) Comprehension of an Interactive Electronic Technical Manual (IETM)
6.) Understanding of specification ATA 100 or ATA 2200
7.) Excellent written and verbal communications skills with an understanding of FAA regulations
