Human Resources Manager (Illinois)
Duration: Direct-hire
Pay: $100K plus benefits
Hours: Full-time
Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in HR or related required
Description: Successful distributor is currently conducting interviews for the position of Human Resource Manager to work in their Illinois location. The HR Manager will report to the Sr. VP of HR and will be responsible for managing the HR Generalist and HR support personnel.

Additional responsibilities:
1.) Compensation, benefits, and performance management
2.) Develops and administers strategic HR projects, plans and programs
3.) Acts as company employee relations expert by defining and implementing standards and procedures
4.) Creates and manages facility training programs
5.) Will be involved in recruiting, staffing and professional development
Requirements include:
1.) Bachelor’s degree in HR or related required with at least 10-12 years of strong HR Generalist experience; at least 5 years in a management capacity
2.) Strong computer skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint, plus working knowledge of HRIS systems
3.) Hands-on general HR experience in the areas of: budgeting, compensation, employee relations, training, benefits administration, recruiting and relocation, and staff management and development
4.) Focused, highly professional individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively tackle complex projects
Previous experience in the consumer goods industry highly desired. Local candidates only.
