We are looking for several CAD Software Sales Professional in Southern Connecticut ,
Long Island New York & Northern New Jersey regions
Our company a SolidWorks reseller, is a Technology/Engineering
based sales and consulting firm that has been servicing the
engineering community for the past 18 years. We sell and support
SolidWorks 3D mechanical design software. SolidWorks is a publicly
traded division of Dassault Systems - a Billion dollar software
company with a growth rate of 22% per year.
JOB TITLE / DESCRIPTION: CAD Software Sales Professional,
responsible for developing new client relationships and expanding
COMPANY'S territorial reach selling SolidWorks solutions. The
position will hold primary responsibility for direct sales to all
potential clients in the expansion territory. Selling SolidWorks
solutions will require a consultative sales approach to understand
and to address customer’s design automation requirements over
possible multiple locations.
HERE’S WHAT YOU WILL DO AS THE SALES REPRESENTATIVE:
§ Develop new accounts by cold-calling, researching and
networking
§ Sell leading edge technology solutions to the manufacturing
industry in a rapidly evolving market
§ Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual unit and revenue
goals
§ Manage sales activities in your assigned territory and provide
detailed, accurate monthly forecasts
§ Partner with Applications Engineers to ensure our clients
receive the proper technical training and sales support
CANDIDATE PROFILE: We have a unique opportunity for a
seasoned, highly motivated sales person. Our sales professionals
are typically mature individuals who enjoy autonomy but can work as
part of a team to meet customer needs. If you are able to take
responsibility to achieve aggressive business results without
aggressive supervision, you will be a good fit. Understanding every
resource available from Unitec and from SolidWorks and then
leveraging those resources will guarantee success.
Requirements:
WE SEEK CANDIDATES WITH THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCE
AND ATTRIBUTES:
§ Consistent track record of successful sales
§ Experience selling into SMB and Fortune 1000 environments
§ Mechanical Engineering aptitude
§ 3-10 years of selling experience
§ 2+ years of software sales experience
§ A seasoned, consultative, “solution sales” approach
§ Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
§ Experience selling products competitive to SolidWorks will be an
asset
§ Formalized / Accredited sales training and industry experience a
strong plus
§ Bachelors Degree or equivalent work / technical experience
Locations:Long Island NY,Fairfield CT,Northern NJ.
Base Salary 24-36k based on your experience a very generous
commission plan great benefit package first year income 75-80k.
