Job Title: Director of Business Development Reporting: Executive management

Responsibilities include: • As a working manager, the Director of Business Development is responsible for the same activity and goals depicted for the Business Development Specialist position. In addition to these responsibilities, the Director of Business Development trains and manages the Business Development Specialists working throughout the day. • Conduct telephone interviews with medical professionals to obtain key information for our clients • Record critical marketing information and call summarize each interview in our database • Send qualified accounts product/service information via e-mail • Coordinate all activity with clients

Tasks and Responsibilities: • Build relationships to conduct interviews with decision makers from targeted prospects • Act proactively to identify new business opportunities for our clients • Make cold calls from provided lists to companies to conduct detailed interviews related to the product(s) and/or services we represent • Handle incoming calls from prospects to conduct detailed interviews related to the product(s) and/or services we represent • Meet or exceed objectives set for each client’s objectives, including but not limited to: o Number of contacts made each day o Quality of interviews conducted o Maintain complete and accurate data recording of every interview • Provide feedback for project improvement and efficiency • Participate in client meetings to assist the organization in providing accurate accounting of each campaign • Learn all current client projects and prepare training sessions for campaign “roll-outs” with the team • Manage activity, work-flow and intra-office relations • Address common workplace issues and escalate when appropriate • Champion Key Accounts for the company – pilot the programs prior to training the team • Track each employee’s activity, hours, absences, performance, issues, etc. • Quality Assurance – monitoring and critiquing representatives for performance enhancements and training retention

Hours: • Full time – Monday to Friday: 9AM to 6PM; 1 Hour lunch • Part time – Monday to Friday: 9AM to 1PM or 1PM to 5PM

Required Knowledge/Skills/Job Qualifications: Knowledge, Skill and Ability • Management skills – Employee and customer relations • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral • Enjoy speaking with and conducting interviews with people via the telephone • Manage multiple relationships well • Detail oriented and organized • Aggressive, competitive and committed • Highly motivated with a desire to be successful • Effective time management skills • Competent computer skills: MS Windows; MS Excel; MS Word; Internet; MS Access a plus

Education and Formal Training: 4 Year College degree required

Experience: Prior telemarketing and/or sales experience is required Prior management experience is preferred
