Job Description:
Act as sub-matter expert on service providers in your assigned region.
Represent CDW to the CDW Service Provider Network
Identify and promote key partners in assigned geographic region (s).
Be a field-based resource for the recruitment, on-boarding and management of CDW Service Providers.
Act as liaison between the Service Providers and internal CDW staff including Management, Service Sales Specialists, Project Coordinators, Project Managers, Solution Architects, Pre-Sales Specialists and Account Managers.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Manage the new partner on-boarding process from contract signing through orientation. Communicate to CDW coworkers Service Provider qualifications and partnership status. Develop and implement programs to link sales directly with key Service Providers within the assigned region. Manage and build the relationship with current regional and national Service Providers Assist in the recruitment of prospective partners.
Current Service Providers: Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews for named providers that include competency, activity and quality reviews. Conduct provider new hire orientations. on an as needed basis Communicate CDW strategy, structure and process updates to the partners. Initiate strategic relationships between sales and key partners. Initiate internal education for CDW Service Specialist and, as needed, Account Managers with Service Providers. Develop relationships with major OEMs such as Microsoft, IBM, HP, Symantec, etc. within the assigned region. Participate in internal and external industry IT service events. Coordinate Service Provider visits to CDW including training of CDW Technology Services Team and Account Managers.
New Service Providers: Assist with recommendations on prospective service providers in assigned region. Manage on-boarding and training process.
Additional Responsibilities: Travel 50% or more. Uncover additional sales and partnership opportunities during partner meetings. Maintain industry awareness. Stay updated with various CDW departments internal changes.
Organizational Relationships: Reports to National Partner Manager, Service
Job Requirements:
Qualifications:
2-5 years relevant experience. Services sales or partner management experience plus.
College Degree.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Should possess strong interpersonal skills to gain cooperation from other departments.
Must project a professional image and strong business acumen during partner interactions.
Ability to present in small and large groups.
Organization and follow up skills.
Service/Sales background.
Industry awareness.
CDW system knowledge AS400 Order Entry, SPS, CDW@WORK, etc
