As the Manager, Risk Financing and Analysis, you will develop, recommend, implement and manage risk mitigation, retention, transfer strategies and programs on a company-wide basis for fixed asset and executive liability risks (including Property and Business Interruption, Inventory & Stock, Directors & Officers Liability, Fiduciary Liability, Political Risk and emerging exposures). You will create risk management strategies and programs to reduce frequency and severity of loss events, minimize the cost of risk and provide financial protection for residual and fortuitous hazard risks such as fixed asset damage and executive liability. Responsibilities include: • A coordinated global approach to managing risk and insurance programs supported by analytics and using principles based decision making. • Proper risk identification and assessment within functional risk areas. Advise and support business owners on specific risks resulting from corporate transactions and activities. • Within functional risk areas, maintain a risk management and funding program that is optimized for (1) ease of administration, (2) financial protection for loss events, (3) cost effectiveness, and (4) compliance with contractual and internal requirements. • Proper reporting and presentation of risk and insurance programs that complies with acceptable standards and regulatory requirements. • Develop formal and informal processes and network to engage and collaborate with business units in risk identification, assessment, transfer and mitigation to manage the company’s profile and within its tolerance. • Manage end-to-end process of insurance acquisition and funding of retained risks including data gathering, internal review, liaising with external insurance providers and proposal analysis. • Analyze and monitor existing retained risks and recommend optimization plans for specific & global programs. Provide analytic support for variety of risk exposures and funding schemes within group. • Manage captive operations and financial performance. • Coordinate pre-loss mitigation activities with internal functional groups (e.g., Safety and Real Estate) and external service providers. • Manage post-loss claims for all global programs utilizing internal staff and external service providers.

Job Requirements:
Requirements Include: Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration or equivalent business experience with multi-national company. Industry designations such as ARM and CPCU desirable. Experience: at least five years in a variety of risk management, insurance or broker areas, preferring at least three years managing a global risk management function. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: consultative, collaborative and project management skills within multi-country and multi-cultural global environment; deep technical understanding of risk and insurance practices and processes: financial modeling, contractual transfer, liability and executive risk insurance products, broker operations, market placements and risk retention, global program management, and relevant accounting standards.
