If so, get in touch with us today about this excellent opportunity. Area of Focus: Responsible for ensuring the consistency and accuracy of the WW books and records. In this role, you will manage and guide senior managers who are responsible for the financial planning, reporting and analysis for your assigned business unit. Among your accountabilities, you will oversee the delivery of timely and accurate financial and management information; ensure appropriate controls and processes are in place to safeguard company assets; and ensure that reporting is in compliance with GAAP and SOX 404. It will be your job to proactively identify, develop, and facilitate the use of financial planning & reporting tools across the business unit, and to see that improvements to processes, tools, and systems are consistently implemented and leveraged. In addition, you will have accountability for making sure that the work of your team addresses all aspects of building share holder value and optimizes working capital investments. Proactively imbedding best practices and ensuring those processes are implemented and followed for organizational and functional development are also among your key responsibilities. General Activities: • Provide accurate Financial Reporting: • Lead and control the monthly close of the Hyperion Enterprise/HFM WW application. • Ensure consistency and accuracy in the financial reporting. • Develop/participate in foreign affiliate monthly/quarterly reviews. Expand the analysis function of the Consolidations department. • Provide support to performance analysis of results as needed by the Planning and Analysis organization. • Review foreign affiliates key estimates for accuracy (sales allowances, bad debt, operating accruals, restructuring, actuarial based amounts) and compliance with US GAAP. • Provide oversight of all top-side entries in the WW application. • Manage the intercompany reconciliation process. • Participate with Treasury in review of the F/X accounting matters. • Trademark/Intangibles valuation. • Provide GAAP consultation to foreign affiliate business partners. • Lead the preparation of quarterly reporting to the Audit Committee. • Lead audit relationship for all matters of consolidation and serve as liaison between foreign affiliates and PwC. • Lead WW coordination of pension accounting and adoption of SFAS 158. • Coordinate quarterly Trial Balance Reviews with Americas, APD and Europe. Policy/Internal Control Matters: • Lead the SOX compliance initiative in the U.S. for all areas where the Director, Global Consolidations is the management reviewer or process owner. • Participate in the review of Company financial policy for GAAP compliance. Participation includes partnering with the Manager of Financial Policy to bring policy matters to her attention, provide input and review for draft policies. Human Resources Development: • Manager the SSC Intercompany department and SF Home Office staff (includes all areas of staff management - RAPs, coaching, administrative duties, etc.) • Define roles and responsibilities for new SF Home Office staff members.

Job Requirements:
We seek an innovative problem solver with highly developed creative & analytical thinking abilities who can integrate different points of view and influence others in a productive manner. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting coupled with a CPA or MBA. The right candidate will have a minimum of 10 to 15 years of broad business experience in leading, managing, and providing financial planning, analysis and reporting. Experience must include responsibility for revenue allowances as well as inventory & cost accounting for a branded product or manufacturing company with emphasis on business performance reporting that drives share holder value. Knowledge of the retail industry, revenue recognition, marketing, product accounting and working capital management are among the qualifications we seek. Good working knowledge of diverse ERP and operational business systems software with strong emphasis on the Cost, Inventory, General Ledger and Order Fulfillment modules is required. The demonstrated ability to lead and manage a diverse staff in achieving results is critical, along with strong collaborative and process management skills.
