Web Programming Specialist
Duration: Direct Hire
Pay: $40-55K range or negotiable plus benefits
Hours: Full-time
Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related; High School diploma plus relevant experience may suffice
Description: Innovative technology corporation is currently conducting interviews for the exciting role of Web Programming Specialist to work with their Marketing Communications branch. This position will work under the direction of the Web Development Manager to create and maintain compelling, search engine friendly website applications for multiple company websites. Will also consult with Managers in the areas of Marketing, Product Marketing and MIS in order to recommend and implement dynamic new site features and enhancements.
Additional duties:
1.) Act as team specialist in regards to website programming and functionality; including content management, data generation/integration, storage and interactive services
2.) Create or integrate web-friendly advertising and online promotional materials
3.) Create data import/export applications and visual presentation materials for integration into the websites and for use in training, trade shows and other group events
Requirements:
1.) Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related; High School diploma plus relevant experience may suffice
2.) Minimum 2 years web programming experience with proven abilities in site programming, code and application development, and database manipulation
3.) Advanced skills with mySQL, PHP, ASP, Java code bases, HTML, XML and similar programming languages / development platforms, plus advanced knowledge of web server operating systems and architecture
4.) Ability to create web pages utilizing cross browser compatible HTML/PHP/ASP and SQL and C+ coding
