Job Description:
State-of-the-art central Arkansas manufacturer is currently conducting interviews for the role of Sr. Plant Accountant. This dynamic position will utilize your financial and accounting expertise with duties that include:
1.) Comprehensive budgeting, forecasting and analysis for the Plant
2.) Account reconciliation and analysis
3.) Monthly capital expenditure forecasting, tracking of assets, and performing of yearly fixed asset and inventory audits
4.) Preparation and analysis of monthly business reports
5.) Identify and implement financial cost saving and quality improvement opportunities
6.) Document and support internal controls
Requirements include:
1.) Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CMA and/or Master’s in Accounting a plus 2.) Minimum of 2-5 years of strong accounting experience; preferably in the manufacturing industry 3.) Great computer skills with experience utilizing spreadsheet and database software 4.) Analytical, professional self-starter with a thorough knowledge of general accounting and cost accounting principles
