Sr. Logistics Coordinator
Duration: Direct-hire
Pay: Up to $60-80K or DOE
Hours: Full-time
Educational Requirements: College degree in logistics or related field preferred but experience may suffice
Description: Successful corporation in central Arkansas has an immediate need for a Senior Logistics Coordinator. This exciting, fast-paced position involves interacting with multiple departments to ensure the efficient and timely scheduling and delivery of products. You will work to coordinate with a team of fellow Logistics Coordinators, Yard crews, and Operations and Supply Coordinators as well. Will be responsible for managing cost, reducing traffic congestion and improving safety.

Required Qualifications:
1.) Minimum 3-7 years of logistics experience with strong knowledge of the transportation industry; specifically flatbed, oilfield and specialized freight
2.) Strong analytical capabilities with skills in computer programs such as Maximo Asset Mgmt software, BOL software, MS Office Suite and GPS or ESRI-based tracking software
3.) Multitasking tactical decision-maker skilled at effectively communicating and dealing with internal customers and external vendors
4.) Superior organizational abilities with strong planning and scheduling experience and a talent for working in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of local central AR geography a plus.
