Position Description:
In order to be successful in this role, the Vice President – Life Sciences Consulting must be able to manage and lead a team of consultants on project execution, client relationships, and sell projects.
Duties include: • Supervising and managing teams for online market research studies • Managing pharmaceutical client relationships and accounts • Developing pharmaceutical marketing leads • Presenting the company’s capabilities to prospective clients • Writing proposals and closing project sales
Job Requirements:
Ideal Candidate:
• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum of 10 years of pharmaceutical industry experience (e.g., pharmaceutical market research consulting, major pharmaceutical company, or other pharmaceutical consulting position)
• Minimum of 5 years quantitative pharmaceutical market research experience (e.g., pharmaceutical market research consulting position or market research position with a pharmaceutical company)
• Ability to manage a team on execution of market research projects (e.g., market research methodology selection, study design, questionnaire development, data analysis, statistical analysis, and final report creation)
• Excellent presentation, project management, and relationship management skills
• Proven track record in sales to pharmaceutical executives
• Established contacts with pharmaceutical marketers and market research personnel
• Ability to exercise judgment and work in a fast paced environment
• Consider yourself a team player and effective communicator
• Eligible to work in the US
• MBA. or Master’s degree related to market research a plus
