FDA/USDA Label Review Analyst

REPORTS TO Manager, North America Regulatory, Government and Analytical Services $45,000-72,000 with full and competitive benefits including relocation.

Job Requirements:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Facilitate regulatory label approval and maintain a comprehensive understanding of food laws and regulations in order to accomplish this.
* Assist in monitoring and researching food laws, and related regulatory developments while communicating to affected business areas as applicable.
* Support other activities to maintain regulatory compliance for products, labels, etc. (i.e., ability to deliver and consult on labeling, internal training,
* Awareness and interpretation of HACCP requirements, USDA inspection.
* Other duties as may be directed from time to time.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor"s Degree in nutrition, food technology, food science or related degree
* Basic knowledge of regulations for food labeling- (Food Label and Package Survey (FLAPS) or the ACNielsen is helpful).
* Strong research , with demonstrated communications and human relation skills
* Good time management, adaptable and flexible in a dynamic environment
