HydroQual Laboratories Ltd is looking for a Quality Assurance Manager for a temporary one year term. This individual would directly report to Laboratory & Division Manager and would be responsible for:
Job Description:
Responsibilities:
• Managing the Quality Assurance Unit
• Maintaining and implementing the quality system compliant to ISO/IEC 17025
• Ensuring that supporting work instructions and methods are followed, that test results meet predefined levels of precision and accuracy and that all regulatory testing requirements are met
• Managing the training program and ensuring that all staff are qualified to fulfill their job requirements
• Maintain documentation of staff qualifications
• Ensuring implementation of corrective and preventative actions
• Conducting internal and external audits
• Being the main contact with external groups; including clients and regulations bodies (CAEAL, USE{A, AIHA ect.) on quality assurance matters to ensure compliance
• Working with the Laboratory & Division Manager, Coordinators and Technical Leads to ensure staff compliances with Quality Assurance practices
• Some client contact
Job Requirements:
Qualifications:
• Undergraduate degree B.Sc. Biology / Microbiology / Environmental Science
• Leadership experience
• Must possess CALA accreditation
• Maintains accurate and detailed records
• Ability to multi-task
