Job Description:
The Geotechnical Engineering Group of our Calgary office provides a variety of technical services including geotechnical engineering, construction review and laboratory testing services to many different markets and clients throughout Alberta.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be expected to work in lab environments providing technical services in the following general areas: materials (soils, rock and concrete) testing, construction review, quality control and assurance testing and site characterization.

Qualifications:
Preference given to Engineering Technology Diploma from a recognized Civil Engineering Technologist Program; such as, SAIT, NAIT, BCIT, Okanogan University College, SIAST, or equivalent College, or
Minimum grade 12 graduate with applicable work experience and aptitude will be considered.
Previous experience working in civil or geotechnical technician role and/or construction environment an asset.
Basic math and technical writing skills required.
Confidence and assertiveness when dealing with people
Good communication (written and verbal) skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
