The purpose of this position is to lead a highly effective Business Applications Team in implementing cost-effective technology solutions (purchased and/or customized) to support critical business functions. This position is also responsible for the ongoing support and maintenance of applications
· University degree in Computer Science, Commerce (with an Information Systems specialization), or equivalent.
· Progressive experience in IT including leadership of complex, large, strategic projects in an integrated ERP environment.
· Ability to deliver technology solutions to create business value.
· Desirable experience: 5 or more years of SAP experience, full project lifecycle implementations utilizing ASAP methodology.
· Knowledge of manufacturing processes as well as a solid understanding of company-wide operations and logistics.
· Knowledge of project management methodologies and demonstrated success delivering projects on time and on budget.
· Experience and knowledge of process re-engineering techniques and methods.
· Excellent communications skills (verbal and written) and well developed listening skills
· Excellent interpersonal, presentation, training and negotiation skills.
· Able to work and thrive in a team environment.
· Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
· Self-starter, willing to initiate action.
Desirable: APICS, Project Management, ITIL (IT Infrastructure Library) / ITSM (IT Service Management) certification, people management courses, knowledge and understanding of a work environment with ISO 9000 or QS 9000
