Job Description:
Due to the expanding operations and increased workload, we are seeking the following individual to join our team of scientists and engineers in our Saskatoon office: As an Intermediate Wildlife Biologist/Terrestrial Ecologist, the candidate will be expected to:
• Provide technical leadership in wildlife biology or terrestrial ecology, including study design, application of field techniques, statistical analysis and report preparation
• Work with our prairie regional terrestrial team (Calgary, Edmonton, Yellowknife)
• Participate with other Golder staff in client development
• Prepare proposals and design work packages in response to client needs
• Manage projects and tasks according to client-approved scopes of work, and deliver high quality reports on time and within budget
Job Requirements:
• Masters or Ph.D. in biology/terrestrial ecology, or related discipline
• Minimum of 5 years experience in wildlife/terrestrial survey techniques, data collection and reporting.
• Minimum 2 years project management and detailed report preparation and finalization.
• Strong statistical, analytical, writing and communications skills.
• Preferred minimum of 2 years experience in environmental consulting.
• Strong team player-ability to work within all levels of an organization.
• Detail oriented with emphasis on quality of work.
