Application Developer
Information Technology
Vidalia, Georgia
Base Salary - $70,000 - $80,000
Relocation Assistance & Interview Travel Reimbursed.
2+ to 5 years of experience
Bachelor's Degree
Implementation and support of system applications used in the Vidalia plant. This position will also provide a system solution when a solution does not exist, and it will work with other I.T. teams to deliver required system solution(s).
Responsibilities: Work with the other I.T./I.S. teams and across Residential Systems on system projects and ensure Vidalia system requirements are included in the definition process and provide implementation support for system solutions in the Vidalia facility.
* Perform system construction activities for assigned development projects. * Investigate emerging technologies and suggest opportunities for use. * Provide documentation and train customers in the proper use of systems * Work with Controls Engineer/Electronics Technician to implement control systems for assembly operations. * Provide information views to support the business decision process. * Provide on-call support and perform day-to-day support activities to ensure systems are operational

Job Specifics-Education and Experience:
* Familiarity or experience with programming hand held devices * Bachelors degree in Information Technology or related field * Minimum of 5 years experience as an application developer * Web and Windows based application development knowledge - required * Experience with relational database - required (Oracle preferred) * Experience implementing package software in a manufacturing environment * Strong Electronics background required * Proficiency in Microsoft Backoffice Products
